Do you know a College of Education alum who deserves recognition for their exceptional career accomplishments? What about a talented young alum who has demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to the field?

The College of Education at Illinois State University is actively seeking nominations for the 2015 Hall of Fame and the Outstanding Young Alumni Award.

The nomination process is simple and only takes a few minutes. Please consider visiting the awards site to nominate one or more of the college’s more than 40,000 alumni. The deadline to submit your nomination is January 23, 2015.

Alumni awards are presented at a special ceremony during the University’s Homecoming celebration.

I Nominate these two COE for Hall of Fame awards: Amy Laughlin, CA Teacher of the Year. Amy’s accomplishments speak for themselves. Also, Dr. Gail Lamb, Development officer for the college; she brought more money into the university than any other development officers and built the good foundation for enhancing our endowment.

Btw, Illinois State has an excellent record for preparing state named teachers if the year. One year we had three: Il, Wisconsin and somewhere out west.

I absolutely agree that Dr. Gail Lamb deserves recognition for the COE Hall of Fame awards and second the nomination of Sally Pancrazio. Not only did she bring in lots of money, she made the donors feels that their gifts will really make a difference. She works with people to make sure that their gifts will be used exactly as they wish and was always ready to go the extra mile to make sure that plans are locked in for the future. We started out working with Gail on a professional basis and now are blessed to call her friend.
