The turnout for the Illinois State football team’s send-off prior to its FCS semifinal game at New Hampshire was tremendous, but the Redbirds need your support again on Wednesday, January 7, as they depart for the 2015 NCAA Division I Football Championship Game in Frisco, Texas.

Fans are urged to arrive at the Kaufman Football Building by 3 p.m., and greet players as they begin to load the buses to head to the airport at 3:25 p.m. Parking will be available in the Ropp Lot (lot G-83), adjacent to where the buses will be parked.

The Redbirds will face fellow Missouri Valley Football Conference foe and three-time defending national champion North Dakota State on January 10, at Toyota Stadium in the 2015 NCAA Division I Football Championship Game. The matchup will be the first-ever between two teams from the same conference in the FCS title game.

A team welcome back will also be announced postgame via Twitter (@ISURedbirds and @WJBC) and on Facebook.
