Students are invited to attend Networking LIVE from 5 to 6:30 p.m. February 26 where they will participate in an informative and lively interactive session with alumni professionals. The session will help students feel more confident in social and business networking settings.
Students will learn valuable tips on how to introduce themselves using a 30-second commercial. They will also learn business etiquette skills such as how to manage holding a glass and a plate of food while networking. Refreshments will be provided.
“Personal branding is a critical component of any career. It requires using a combination of technology and resources that will increase your visibility and awareness as a candidate,” said Career Center Senior Assistant Director Maureen Roach.
Students should dress in business casual attire and bring their Redbird ID card for admittance.
This event is being held in the new Hancock Stadium Clubhouse, located on Main Street. Enter Hancock Stadium through the main entrance on Main Street off of commuter parking lot G73. Go to the gate entrance furthest to the right/north, and once you enter the gate, take the elevator immediately to your right. Take the elevator up to the Clubhouse. Signs will be around to help direct you.
