Research and Sponsored Programs (RSP) invites faculty interested in funding from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to participate in a one–two day trip to meet with program officers at the NSF headquarters in Arlington, Virginia. The trip will take place during Illinois State University’s spring break (March 9-13), with the exact dates to be determined based on participants’ availability. All travel expenses will be covered by RSP.

This opportunity is available to anyone considering a submission to the NSF in the next one–two years, but early career faculty submitting their first proposal, midcareer faculty interested in renewing their research focus, or anyone who has experienced successive declinations is particularly encouraged to participate.

Contact Ashley Ellefritz, director of Federal Government Relations, at (309) 438-5527 or amellef@IllinoisState.edu for more details. The number of participants will be limited, so please express your interest ASAP but no later than February 10.
