The School of Music’s Evening of Brass Concert will take place at 7 p.m. Sunday, March 1, in the University’s Center for the Performing Arts Concert Hall. Tickets are $10 for general admission, $8 for faculty/staff and $6 for students and seniors.

The concert will feature Illinois State’s Tuba-Euphonium Ensemble, Trombone Choir and Horn Choir. Program highlights include arrangements of Berlioz’s Roman Carnival Overture, Hymn of Acxiom by pop artist Vienna Teng, Pick up the Pieces by the 1970s funk group the Average White Band, Kamen’s Robin Hood Prince of Thieves, Siegfried’s Death and Funeral March by Wagner and Bruce Broughton’s film music for the movie Silverado.
