The Metcalf Mathcounts team won second place at the 2015 chapter competition at Chiddix Junior High School on February 7.
Participants were Calis Lim, James Han, Jenny Park, Jonah King, Brian Reiss, Rene Mohammadi, and Alicia Han.
Four of Metcalf’s students placed in the top 7. Lim won second place, Park won third place, and both qualified to participate in the Mathcounts state competition in March. Jonah King won fifth place and James Han won seventh place.
