Illinois State University’s Mennonite College of Nursing (MCN) is pleased to work with the Mennonite Nurses Alumni Organization (MNAO) and the Student Nurses Association (SNA) to offer a weeklong celebration of nursing from April 21–25.
Events include an Alumni/Student Career Luncheon, the SNA Candlelighting Ceremony, the Golden Jubilee, and the MNAO Awards and Reunion Banquet.
The MNAO Awards and Reunion Banquet will be held Saturday, April 25, at the Alumni Center. The following awards will be presented:
Distinguished Alumni Award—Vickie (Gasche) Lannie ’65
Early Career Achievement Award—Lauren (Park) Nelson, B.S.N. ’06
Service Award—President Emeritus David Strand
Spirit of Nursing Award—Delores (Miller) Carter ’60 and Diane (Binder) Johner ’74
MCN alumni and friends will receive a formal invitation with details of all the events. The registration deadline is April 15.
