A part of University Housing Services’ (UHS) mission is to inspire futures. Students living in university housing have one opportunity to help their futures with two UHS scholarships available this year.
- The Garrett Van Ausdall Memorial Scholarship is given to an outstanding male undergraduate student leader who has demonstrated leadership, scholarship, citizenship and active participation in residence hall and campus activities. Those interested must have resided in an Illinois State residence hall at least one semester prior and currently to apply. The applicant must also be in good academic and disciplinary standing. The scholarship award is for no less than $350.
- The Janice A. Auguston Memorial Award is given to an outstanding female currently employed as a graduate assistant, resident assistant or international assistant. The applicant must also be in good academic and disciplinary standing. The scholarship award is for no less than $350.
Each scholarship requires an online application and two online recommendations, available through the UHS scholarship webpage, to be submitted before April 5, 2015.
