Illinois State’s 403b plan and SURS Self-Managed Plan investment providers – TIAA-CREF and Fidelity – each have representatives visit campus regularly for one-on-one appointments with interested employees, and to present retirement-focused financial planning presentations. Fidelity’s representative will be on campus April 27 and 28, May 21, and June 2. TIAA-CREF’s representative will be here April 15 and May 21. Representatives from Fidelity and TIAA-CREF are salaried, non-pressure financial advisors whose roles are to provide financial planning guidance, help with establishing an ISU 403b plan, review current investment mix, and perhaps assist in consolidating retirement plans with prior employers by transferring those balances to our 403b plan.
