National Bike to School Day is Wednesday, May 6. Consider joining the many Wildcats that bike and walk to Metcalf along with hundreds of thousands of kids riding to school across the U.S. You will get the fresh air and exercise needed to start your day off right.

If you’re interested in a group ride, there are two different groups riding. One group will be gathering at the GE entrance of Tipton Park for a longer ride leaving promptly at 7:10 a.m. The second group will meet at Colene Hoose School for a shorter ride leaving promptly at 7:30 a.m.

Remember to dress appropriately, wear a helmet and have air in your tires. A parent volunteer will transport backpacks, musical instruments and any other necessary school materials to school.
