The signup and first day of play for the ISU Teebirds golf group is Thursday, May 7, at the ISU Weibring Golf Course clubhouse. Signup, information, and light refreshments begin at 8 a.m., with the first teetime at 9 a.m.
Teebirds are retired ISU faculty, staff and spouses/significant others of all skill levels who enjoy nine holes of friendly golf each Thursday morning. Play is a mix of individual play and team games, mostly at the Weibring course, with some outings at other local courses and monthly social events.
Those interested in continuing to play can join as a regular for only $10 for the season. Weibring offers a special 10-round greens fee package for only $100 for annuitants.
