Register now for CTLT Summer Institute workshops
Enrich your teaching this summer with faculty development workshops at the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology (CTLT).
Summer Institute 2015, which starts in May and lasts through the first week of August, will feature more than 47 different events to help faculty members enhance students’ learning in the classroom and beyond. Workshops will cover topics ranging from course redesign, blended and online learning, student writing, encouraging student collaboration, and writing effective tests and quizzes. More than a dozen workshops will be facilitated by faculty and staff invited to share their ideas as part of the Faculty Fellows program. CTLT is also partnering with other campus units, such as the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, International Studies, and Milner Library to provide faculty with new ways to approach both their teaching and their research.
This year, CTLT has organized these workshops by five Keys to Enhanced Teaching. These keys are inspired by categories from the National Survey of Student Engagement, the Faculty Survey of Student Engagement, and findings from IDEA Education.
