Clickers instructional support from the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology.

Help create active, engaged learning experiences for your students.

New to classroom clickers? Or need a refresher? Whether you want to use them for the first time this fall, or you’re an old hand with them, the Center for Teaching, Learning, and Technology (CTLT) is offering three workshops in the coming weeks that you shouldn’t miss. CTLT is expanding its support for classroom clickers on campus this summer, including support for an alternative to the traditional PowerPoint-based polling solution, called Anywhere Polling. Seating is limited for each event, so registration is required.

Effective Teaching with Clickers
Thursday, June 25 • 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Get started teaching the right way with classroom clickers. This full-day event is for both novices and experienced clickers users. Learn how to ask the right questions and problem-solve classroom issues. This is more than just technology training! Learn how clickers can lead to effective pedagogy and effective student learning in classrooms of all sizes. We guarantee that you will leave this workshop with new ideas and genuine excitement about putting clickers to use in your upcoming courses. Stipends are available for eligible participants.

Clickers: PowerPoint Polling
Tuesday, June 30 • 1 to 4 p.m.
Explore how to use classroom clickers in combination with Microsoft PowerPoint to poll students instantly in class. This introductory workshop is designed for anyone who wants to use clickers in the classroom. This workshop is open to instructors, administrators, and staff only.

Clickers: Anywhere Polling
Tuesday, July 7 • 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
This workshop, new this summer, introduces Anywhere Polling.
