A retirement reception for Linda Foster, superintendent of Building Services, will be from 3-5:30 p.m. Friday, August 21, in the Hancock Stadium Club.

Foster began her career at Illinois State University as a building service worker in 1983. During her 32 years on campus, she served as a foreman, supervisor, and assistant superintendent of Building Services.

“Linda Foster has been a significant influence on the Illinois State campus for the past 32 years, not only in the Building Services arena, but also with her fair and impartial support to several RSOs, task forces, and committees,” said Chuck Scott, executive director of Facilities Management, Parking and Transportation. “Her many contributions will serve the campus well into the future.”

In lieu of gifts, Foster would prefer donations to the ISU Foundation’s Tapley Endowed Scholarship Fund.
