Students find part-time jobs at the Part-time Job Fair

Two students at last year's Part-Time Job Fair.

The Career Center at Illinois State University is hosting the Part-Time Job Fair for students to find part-time openings on or near campus on Thursday, September 3, from 1-4 p.m. in the Brown Ballroom at the Bone Student Center.

Employers from local retailers, restaurants, nonprofit organizations, university departments, and other companies are attending to meet students interested in part-time positions, have them complete job applications, and to conduct on-the-spot interviews.

Students seeking a part-time job while attending Illinois State are encouraged to attend. All students need to bring with them is their Redbird identification card and any information they may need to complete a job application, such as a list of previous employers and their contact information, and their class schedule.

Employers seeking candidates to fill their part-time openings can participate in the Part-time Job Fair free of charge, but registration is required.
