Illinois State University’s Horticulture Center will hold its 10th annual Autumnal Festival from 9 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 19. Admission to the event is $5 for ages 13 and up, $3 for ages 3 to 12, and free for those 2 and under.

The Autumnal Festival will feature children’s activities from 9 a.m.-noon, a Scarecrows on Parade display, hay rides, and a silent auction. In honor of the festival’s 10th year, birthday cake will be cut and served at 1 p.m. Pumpkins, gourds, cornstalks, mums, and food will be on sale throughout the day. Visitors will also have the chance to explore the Horticulture Center’s various themed gardens.

Area organizations, including the Children’s Discovery Museum, McLean County 4-H, Normal Public Library, and University of Illinois Extension McLean County Master Gardeners, will have displays at the event.
