Step away from the books and work out your pre-exam nerves at the study break you won’t want to miss. Join the Adventure Program on this trip to Matthiessen State Park for the De-Stess Day Hike.

Walk along Matthiessen State Park’s narrow canyons, waterfalls, prairies, and more hidden gems. The De-Stress Day Hike is 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, December 6. Register online or at the Student Fitness Center Welcome Center until December 2 at noon. The fee is $20 for students and Student Fitness Center members, and $25 for faculty and staff non-members.

“This trip is designed for our stressed-out students, faculty, staff, or others interested in seeing winter’s natural beauty at Starved Rock’s sister state park,” said Assistant Director of Adventure Programs Rachel Iversen. “Explore with us at Matthiessen State Park, and enjoy a close view of the Midwest’s winter wonderland.”
