Former Mayor of Normal Paul Harmon and his wife, Sandra Harmon, a retired faculty member from the Department of History at Illinois State University, will discuss the founding of Normal and its sesquicentennial celebration at the next University Club (U-Club) on Friday, October 16, from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in the Faculty/Staff Commons of the Bone Student Center.
The presentation will begin at 4:30 p.m. All faculty, staff, retirees, and their guests are welcome. Membership is not required.
In other U-Club news, the second Fall Gourmet Dinner will be on November 7. It will be a Greek dinner. Checks are to be mailed no later than Thursday, October 29, as they must be received by Tuesday, November 3. Details are available at https://uclub.illinoisstate.edu/dinners/.
