Ewing Manor in Bloomington will be decorated for the holidays and will be a part of this year’s Christmas at the Mansions tour on Saturday, December 12. The tour will also include Bloomington’s historic David Davis Mansion and a private residence mystery mansion, to be revealed as part of the tour.

The Christmas at the Mansions tours will run from 2-5 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Tickets are $12 per person in advance and may be purchased at Casey’s Garden Shop, The Garlic Press, Schnucks Supermarkets, the David Davis Mansion, and online at www.daviddavismansion.org.

Ewing Manor will also be open for tours from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, December 17. There is a suggested donation of $10 per person at the door.

Ewing Manor and the Davis Mansion will be festooned with vintage Christmas decorations. Special foods, beverages, seasonal music, and costumed guides will be featured at the Davis Mansion, while Ewing Manor will host musical guests throughout the day. Funds raised during the Christmas at the Mansions tours will benefit the David Davis Mansion State Historic Site, Ewing Manor, and a community charity of the mystery mansion owner’s choice.

Ewing Cultural Center is owned and operated by the Illinois State University Foundation. The David Davis Mansion State Historic Site is administered by the Illinois Historic Preservation Agency.
