Student Health Services is offering laboratory-only sexually transmitted infection (STI) testing.

Lab-only testing allows the patient to have an STI test without seeing a physician, unless they are experiencing signs or symptoms in which case they are directed to see a physician. Whether you book online or over the phone, there are a series of questions that you are asked to ensure the most appropriate tests are ordered for you.

As always, students may schedule an appointment with a physician for STI testing if they have specific questions or prefer to see a provider. Within a matter of days, students will receive a phone call or a secure message with the results of the tests.

Any follow-up education or services will then be scheduled at that time. Your visit will be confidential in natures, and your results will be provided to you confidentially. Lab-only STI testing is available any time at Student Health Services. Schedule an appointment today on our online secure portal or by calling (309) 438-2778. If you try to book an appointment online, but do not see an appointment at a time convenient to you, please call to schedule the appointment.
