Any Metcalf school parent of a sixth- through eighth-grade girl is invited to an informational meeting regarding the upcoming volleyball season on Wednesday, November 18. The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. in the Metcalf Large Gym.
All athletes must have a physical within the last 395 days of the date of their first practice and signed Illinois Elementary School Association concussion form on file before participation is allowed. The concussion form can be found on the Metcalf Athletics site. Metcalf’s main office will bill the $35 fee at a later date. Please do not bring money to the coaches.
The coaches for this year’s volleyball teams are Jon Haws (8th grade), Amy Champ (seventh grade), and Nina Chiodo (sixth grade).
Volleyball practice for seventh and eighth grade will begin Monday, November 30, while sixth grade starts Monday, December 7. An official schedule will be released at a later time.
