Illinois State redshirt freshman Brannon Barry was needed all over the field in 2015 and his hard work was rewarded Tuesday with a selection to the Missouri Valley Football Conference All-Newcomer Team.
Barry was one of 20 freshmen or redshirt freshmen to be named to this year’s team, which is comprised of first-year league players who make a big impact. The St. Charles, Illinois, native played in all 11 games for the Redbirds, splitting time for the Redbirds at both tight end and defensive end.
