Associate Professor Gina Hunter from Illinois State’s Department of Sociology and Anthropology will be the next speaker for the University Club (U-Club) discussion Friday, January 29, in the Faculty/Staff Commons of the Bone Student Center.

Hunter will present “The Story of ‘Making a Home,’ First of the Renovated Permanent Exhibits at the McLean County Museum of History.” The event will begin at 3:30 p.m., with the talk starting at 4:30 p.m.

Hunter will discuss her role  as consultant and guest curator of the renovated “People” Gallery at the McLean County Museum of History. She will provide a brief introduction to the ideas and goals that guided the renovation and describe some of the stories and artifacts contained the new exhibit.
