The School of Communication will sponsor two guest lectures by writer, director, and editor Michael Matzdorff from 2-2:50 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, in Stevenson Hall, room 101, and from 9:35-10:50 a.m. Thursday, January 28, in the TV-10 Studio, Fell Hall.

His lectures on post production and video editing are free and open to the public. Those interested in video editing are especially welcome.

Matzdorff has spent over 20 years in editing rooms of feature films and Emmy-winning television shows, including, Fight ClubAnalyze ThisLast Comic Standing, and Monk.

Matzdorff has a long history at the highest levels of post production in Hollywood. He has also had the chance to direct his uncle, Tony Shalhoub, in the independent feature—that Matzdorff also wrote and produced—Feed the Fish.
