The Office of International Studies and Programs (OISP) is collaborating with Student Counseling Services, Health Promotion and Wellness, and the YWCA to host a series of workshops titled “Crossing Borders and Respecting Boundaries” for international students.

The first workshop, “Happy, Safe, and Successful,” will take place February 29. This workshop will cover how to handle stress and make friends in a different culture as well as how to establish boundaries.

The second workshop, “Cultural Differences in Relationships,” is scheduled for March 21. It will discuss cultural differences and the unspoken language of relationships, including how to communicate your personal boundaries and express consent.

The last workshop, “Keeping Friends Safe” on April 18, presents ways to keep yourself and your friends safe and highlights campus and local resources students can utilize.

All workshops will be hosted from 12–1 p.m. in McCormick Hall (February 29: room 260, March 21: room 262, April 18: room 260). All are welcome, and pizza will be provided.
