Illinois State University students and alumni are invited to the Career Center’s Education Career Fair  from 9:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday, February 26, in the Brown Ballroom at the Bone Student Center.

The Education Career Fair connects school administrators, superintendents, and other employers from the field of education seeking to hire candidates in education and related fields for full-time positions.

“The Education Career Fair provides an invaluable opportunity to network with school district representatives, showcase their experiences and skillsets, and explore opportunities they may not have initially considered. All students majoring in education and related fields from freshman to seniors will greatly benefit from attending the Education Career Fair,” said Career Center Career Advisor Renee Carrigan.

All class standings and content areas are encouraged to attend. The Career Center also offers drop-in hours daily to address students’ quick career questions and to offer general assistance.

Students attending the fairs need to bring their Redbird ID card and plenty of copies of their resume. Students are also encouraged to dress for an interview and to get a free headshot photo at the fair. Students can also order free business cards from the Career Center to distribute to employers.
