Toni Tucker at Ewing

Toni Tucker

Director of the Ewing Cultural Center Toni Tucker will present “Hazle Buck Ewing: A Life of Faith, Grace, and Integrity” at the next University Club talk on Friday, February 26, in the Faculty/Staff Commons in the Bone Student Center.

The event will begin at 3:30 p.m., with the talk starting at 4:30 p.m.

According to Tucker, Ewing was ahead of her time in many ways; actively involved in a variety of causes. A suffragette, a founder of a boy’s home, a staunch advocate for the League of Nations and the United Nations, protector of the environment, and a proponent of cross cultural understanding and education, Ewing cared deeply about her family, church, and community.

All faculty, staff, annuitants, and guests are welcome to attend. Additional information about U-Club events and activities can be found on the University Club website. Continued program support is provided by the Office of the Provost and the Office of the President.
