Have you ever looked up at the stars and wondered what was out there? Adventure into outer space and explore the magnificent universe with Campus Recreation.

On March 15, our Adventure program will be taking an evening Stargazing trip to the Prairie Sky Observatory in nearby McLean. Participants will get to observe the night sky through state-of-the-art telescopes that can see into deep space.

Participants must register either online or at the Student Fitness Center by March 12. There will be a fee of $12 for students and members or $15 for faculty/staff nonmembers.

“We’re excited for this trip because we get to look beyond the limits of our planet,” said Rachel Iversen, assistant director of Adventure Programs. “Learning about other galaxies and planets puts in perspective how much more there is to the universe.”

To register or for more information, visit the Adventure section of the Campus Recreation website or call (309) 438-8427.
