Looking for an April adventure? Enjoy an adrenaline-pumping five-mile stretch full of drops, ledges and wave trains!

On our Adventure program’s White Water Rafting trip, participants will get to encounter the epic rapids of the Peshtigo River. After a long day of fighting the waves, participants will relax and enjoy a night of camping, fires, and storytelling before returning to campus the following day.

Participants will be required to attend a mandatory pre-trip meeting April 20 from 5–7 p.m. in the lobby of the Student Fitness Center. Registration closes April 10, and the fee to participate is $150 for students/members and $175 for faculty/staff nonmembers.

If white water rafting isn’t for you, consider joining our Adventure program for its Climb & Hike trip April 15–17. The trip will head to Devil’s Lake in Wisconsin for a weekend of hiking beautiful trails and climbing large quartzite bluffs. With some of the best climbing in the Midwest, participants will get to experience breathtaking views of Devil’s Lake State Park.

Participants will be required to attend a mandatory pre-trip meeting April 13 from 4–6 p.m. in the lobby of the Student Fitness Center. The trip will provide transportation, instruction, equipment, and food for all camping days. The registration deadline is April 12, and the fee to participate is $85 for students/members and $110 for faculty/staff nonmembers.

“We’ve had a great semester of trips so far,” said Rachel Iversen, assistant director of Adventure programs. “We’re looking forward to finishing the semester strong with two of the most exciting trips we have to offer.”
