The Illinois State University Planetarium will present the family show Cosmic Colors, running May 18 through July 22. Showtimes are 2 p.m. Wednesdays and 7:30 p.m. Fridays. There will be no show on Friday, July 1.

Cosmic Colors takes a journey across the electromagnetic spectrum. Planetarium visitors will discover why the sky is blue and Mars is red, explore the human eye, journey within a plant leaf, investigate x-rays, and even see the actual color of a dinosaur.

Admission to Planetarium shows is $4 for adults, $3 for children ages 5-12 and seniors, and $2 for children ages 3-4. The Planetarium is located under the white-domed roof at the eastern end of Felmley Hall of Science at the intersection of College Avenue and School Street in Normal.
