Kathryn Sampeck, ANT, has been appointed as a Non-resident Fellow with the Du Bois Research Institute, Hutchins Center for African and African American Research at Harvard University.

Chuck Scott, Facilities, was installed as the president of APPA: Leadership in Educational Facilities, the organization for educational facilities professionals. APPA has more than 10,000 members in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and other countries around the globe.

Kathryn Jasper, HIS, presented “Between Rome and Ravenna: Reform Choices in the Mid-Eleventh Century” at the International Medieval Congress in Leeds, U.K.

Bob Broad, ENG, presented “Writing Portfolios: An Assessment Worth Teaching Toward” at the Conference on College Composition and Communication in Houston, Texas. He also presented “Research  :  Writing  :  Assessment… Three Subjects, Three Verbs, Three Objects” at the conference.
