Get inspired to teach this fall by colleagues who spent this summer designing or redesigning their courses.

The second annual CTLT Summer Showcase lets teachers on the Illinois State campus share their plans to enhance the learning experience of our students in both face-to-face and online classes. Presenters will either give oral presentations or display posters or portfolios representing their hard work over the summer months. The complete schedule is at CTLT.IllinoisState.edu/Showcase.

Most of the presenters participated in cohorts formed around particular design themes, including:

  • (Re)Create Your Gen Ed Course
  • Reinvent Your Course for Civic Engagement
  • AIM Online
  • DART Online
  • Design Your Course
  • Reinvent Your Course for Diversity
  • Going Global with Your Course
  • Future Faculty

The 2016 Summer Showcase will take place from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. August 4 at the Alumni Center. No registration is required, and the entire campus community is invited to stop by when they can.  However, if you wish to join colleagues for a free boxed lunch starting at noon, please RSVP by August 1.

If you need a special accommodation to fully participate in this event, please contact the CTLT main desk at (309) 438-2542.
