Celebrate national yoga month with Campus Recreation and enjoy the beautiful fall weather while relaxing with a yoga session on the Quad. All are welcome, and no experience is necessary—just remember to bring your own mat!

Yoga on the Quad will take place from 12:30-1:15 p.m. Thursday, September 15. No registration is required and the event is free. Just drop by the Quad in athletic clothing to participate. Yoga mats will not be supplied. Participants are welcome to bring their own mat or towel.

Beginners, moderates, and experts are all welcome to come to this event. Participants can learn about the positive health effects that yoga has on both the mind and the body.

“We want to combat the stress that students experience in their everyday lives,” said Jackie Sherman, Fitness Programs graduate assistant. “Yoga on the Quad is an easily accessible way to take a break from class and enjoy the fall weather.”
