The Study Abroad Mentor Program (StAMP) pairs study abroad alumni with students preparing to embark on a study abroad program in a peer-to-peer relationship.

Study abroad alumni (mentors) serve as a guide for students preparing for departure (mentees). These one-on-one pairings allow students to connect with others who have already gone through the process. They have experienced pre-departure anticipation, initial reactions upon arrival, and what it’s like to return to the United States after program completion. They can also share insights on what students can expect from their host city or university.

Applications are now open for both mentor and mentee surveys for students studying abroad in spring 2017.

More information and applications can be found on the StAMP website.

Application deadline: September 30
