Michael Dougherty, SOC, edited the book, Mining in Latin America: Critical Approaches to the New Extraction. He also wrote the chapters, “From global peripheries to the earth’s core: the new extraction in Latin America” and “Scarcity and control: the new extraction and Canada’s mineral resource protection network,” and he co-wrote the chapter, “The rise of the corporate investment rights regime and ‘extractive exceptionalism’: evidence from El Salvador.”

Fred Smith, ANT, co-authored “On some aspects of Neandertal zygomatic morphology” for HOMO—Journal of Comparative Human Biology.

Ali Riaz, POL, penned an op-ed about the death of an alleged terrorist mastermind for Bangladesh’s The Daily Star. 

Lisa Vinney, CSD, co-authored “Augmenting College Students’ Study of Speech-Language Pathology Using Computer-Based Mini Quiz Games” for the American Journal of Speech-Language Pathology. She also co-wrote “Vocal Control: Is It Susceptible to the Negative Effects of Self-Regulatory Depletion?” for the Journal of Voice.
