Illinois State University’s Dean of Students Office, in conjunction with Health Promotion and Wellness, Women’s and Gender Studies, and the Office of International Studies and Programs, will host a one-day workshop to inspire and empower women in our campus community to begin creating positive change in their own state of wellness.

The workshop, Sister Circles: The Art of Wellness, will take place from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Saturday, September 24, in Vrooman Center Escalante Room. The day-long workshop will feature keynote speaker, Dr. Carrie Barron, author of The Creativity Cure: How to Build Happiness With Your Own Two Hands; Illinois State University’s Improv Mafia; and other interactive sessions and activities. The focus will be on the use of creative expression for enhancing wellness.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided for those who attend. Registration is required. Space is limited. Register today!
