The Spanish Flu epidemic will be the topic of an upcoming Latin American and Latino Studies Brown Bag series (Conversando Entre Nosotros) featuring Illinois State University Professor Ryan Davis.

In this presentation Davis, associate professor in the Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures, will use images from Spain and Latin America—collected in his co-edited volume The Spanish Influenza Pandemic of 1918-1919: Perspectives from the Iberian Peninsula and the Americas—to discuss contemporary reactions to the epidemic.
