Tom Fuller, faculty member in Illinois State University’s safety program, has been admitted to the International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH).

The ICOH is an international, nongovernmental professional society whose aims are to foster the scientific progress, knowledge, and development of occupational health and safety. It was founded in 1906 in Milan. Today, ICOH is the world’s leading international scientific society in the field of occupational health with a membership of 2,000 professionals from 93 countries.

Primary objectives of ICOH include the training and education of experts globally in order to face the rapidly changing workplace hazards and the need to develop occupational health and safety services throughout the world. Fuller is also the vice chair of the International Affairs Committee of the American Industrial Hygiene Association.
