Honors
Barbara Schlatter, KNR, has been inducted into the American Academy for Park and Recreation Administration (AARPA). AARPA is an organization of distinguished practitioners and scholars committed to the advancement of the park and recreation field.

Shelly Clevenger, CJS, is the recipient of the American Society of Criminology, Division of Victimology’s Faculty Teacher of the Year Award.

Pam Walden, University Registrar’s office, is the 91st president of the Illinois Association of Collegiate Registrars & Admissions Officers.  She is the fourth person from Illinois State University to hold the office.

Presentations
Cynthia Huff, ENG, presented “Excavating the Quantified Self” and also moderated a panel titled “Writing Life Stories Today: Historians’ Perspectives” at the International AutoBiography Association International Conference in Cyprus, Greece.

Paul Ugor, ENG, presented “Minority Rights, Informal Economies and Citizenship Struggles in Nigeria” at the African Studies Association Conference, Robinson College, University of Cambridge in Cambridge, United Kingdom.

Robert Lee spoke on a panel at the Dr. Peter C. Murrell Jr. Memorial Symposium on Urban Education at Loyola University, Maryland.
