Professor of Economics Daniel Rich is retiring from Illinois State University after 30 years of teaching, research, and service. There will be a retirement reception from 2-4 p.m. Thursday, December 15, in the Faculty/Staff Commons of the Bone Student Center. The entire campus community is invited to attend.

His teaching record includes introductory courses with an interdisciplinary emphasis, individual research projects by honors students, undergraduate and graduate courses in labor economics and applied econometrics, and executive education (at Northwestern University). His research appears in the International Economic Review, Review of Economics and Statistics, Journal of Econometrics, Oxford Bulletin of Economics and Statistics, and other academic outlets.  He has participated in numerous externally funded projects to address real world workforce challenges through development/application of empirical insights and information technology resources.
