Illinois State University economics alumni Monalisa Kulkarni, M.S. ’16, and Ruisha Zhang, M.S. ’14, MBA ’15, spoke to students about their careers during a recent visit.

Kulkarni works at State Farm. Zhang works for Workforce Data Integration & Analysis at Illinois State. They spoke to students on November 30, 2016, about their experiences at Illinois State and their careers.

Their visit was part of Illinois State’s involvement in Undergraduate Women in Economics, a national initiative to promote success for women as economics majors. The program is led by economists at Harvard University, administered by the National Bureau of Economic Research, and funded by the Alfred P. Sloan Foundation.
