Tunnel of Oppression set for February 7-8
Diversity Advocacy is hosting The Tunnel of Oppression from noon to 4 p.m. February 7-8, in the Brown Ballroom of the Bone Student Center.
The Tunnel of Oppression is an interactive theater that will challenge the way students think of marginalized groups. The topics that the theater will focus on include racism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, classism, and language. This interactive demonstration will provide awareness, education, and a call to action to students, faculty, and staff. Debriefing sessions will be held after the Tunnel of Oppression for participants to express their thoughts, concerns, and learning experiences.
Those with questions or concerns, can contact Jade Triplett at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (309) 438-8968.
