Professor of Psychology Dawn McBride will present “Understanding False Memory” at the next University Club. The meeting will begin at 3:30 p.m. with the talk at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, February 3, in the Faculty/Staff Commons of the Bone Student Center.

There are numerous studies that support how the memory plays tricks and influences decisions that can potentially have long-term effects. Professor McBride will present an overview of her ongoing research on why the memory works the way it does and the causes of false memory.

All faculty, staff, annuitants, and guests are welcome to attend.

Additional information about University Club events and activities can be found on the website. Continued program support is provided by the Office of the Provost and the Office of the President.
