Illinois State University’s Latin American and Latino/a Studies program, along with The Immigration Project and CAUSA, invites you to a training on “Know Your Rights.”
What: CAUSA training, Know Your Rights

Location: Williams Hall, Room 314
The event will educate students on all the policy changes happening under the new administration, help them know their rights in the case of any enforcement action, explain how to report incidents of hate crimes or ICE activity, and link them to ways they can advocate in local organizing efforts in initiatives helping immigrant families. Participants should leave the event with information on what is happening with national immigration policy, what their legal protections are, and where to go to link to more services or organizations.
There will also be a question and answer session with Staff Attorney Charlotte Alvarez of The Immigration Project.
