Politics and Government graduate students Kelsie Diaz and Jaimie Kent presented their experiences from the Women’s March on Washington at the first Brownbag talk of the semester on February 1, 2017. They presented photos and videos and discussed what they hoped to achieve and what was accomplished by attending the march.

The presentation was followed by a brief dialogue with other graduate students and faculty, focusing on critiques of the march, next steps to take, and overall thoughts on the movement.
