Have the winter blues brought you down? Then come hike for a day in the beautiful Weldon Springs State Park in Clinton, Illinois.

This park is filled with amazing landscapes such as ponds, woodland slopes, and a small stream. You will be able to hear birds chirp and see the new life of spring flowers. Get away from your busy schedule for a day and enjoy nature that is just miles away.

The trip will take place on March 25 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. cost is just $15 for student/members and $20 for faculty/staff nonmembers. The registration deadline is March 21. Fees include instruction, transportation, and equipment.

“Hiking is a great way to release stress and enjoy time without the distractions of everyday life,” said Rachel Iversen, assistant director of the Adventure Programs.
