The Illinois State softball team began its season on the road Feb. 9 in Tampa, Florida, and will be playing in road tournaments every weekend until they return to Marian Kneer Stadium for their home opener on April 1. The Redbirds will be making stops in Tempe, Ariz., Bowling Green, Ky., Baton Rouge, La. and Boca Raton, Fla. before beginning conference play at Indiana State March 17.

The Redbirds will be making stops in Memphis, Tenn., Oxford, Ohio, Bowling Green, Ky., Cookeville, Tenn., Nashville, Tenn., Champaign, Cincinnati, Ohio and Dallas, Texas.
