The College of Applied Science and Technology (CAST) will host a day devoted to women in leadership on Thursday, April 20. This event is part of the annual Science and Technology Week.

Students and young alumni are invited to join successful CAST alumni for an energizing, interactive day focusing on career success. The keynote speaker will be Marlene Dietz, first lady of Illinois State University.

“Seven out of eight CAST academic departments graduate female students into male-dominated fields,” said Dean Todd McLoda. “This event serves as a catalyst for dialogue and contributes to the success of our students who will soon enter the workforce.”
