Tammy Harpel, FCS, was elected the new president-elect of the National Council on Family Relations Affiliate Council.
Jonathan Druker, LAN, gave a lecture in Amsterdam titled “Forgiveness after Auschwitz?” at Protestant Theological University in the Netherlands.
Steve Halle and Holms Troelstrup, ENG, were two presenters of “Award-Winning Professional Publications with Preprofessional Staff: Mentorship and Applied Learning in Literary Publishing” at the AWP Conference in Washington, D.C. Halle also presented “Poetry Reading” and “Small Press Translation Publishing” at Kenyon College, Gambier, Ohio.
Craig McLauchlan, CHE, published “Metal Ion Complexes of N,N’-Bis(2-Pyridylmethyl)-trans-1,2-Di-aminocyclohexane-N,N’-Diacetic Acid, H2bpcd: Lanthanide(III)− bpcd2- Cationic Complexes” in Inorganic Chemistry.

He also published “Work and Death in the Global City: Natsuo Kirino’s Out as Neoliberal Noir” in Globalization and the State in Contemporary Crime Fiction: A World of Crime. (New York: Palgrave MacMillan).
Michael Dougherty, SOC, published the article, “Entanglements of Firm Size and Country of Origin with Mining Company Reputational Risk in Guatemala” in the International Sociological Association eSymposium.
Jean MacDonald, Milner Library, co-authored “Mapping the Stacks: Sustainability and User Experience of Animated Maps in Library Discovery Interfaces” in the Journal of Electronic Resources Librarianship.
