Zach Koutsky ’06 was featured in Chicago Scholars’ 35 Under 35. Koutsky, who earned his B.A. in the Politics and Government Department, is noted for his influence as “the legislative and political director for the 34,000 member Local 881 United Food and Commercial Workers, one of Illinois’ largest private sector unions. He currently serves on the Local School Council for Audubon Elementary and is a founding member of the pro-choice advocacy group, Men4Choice.”

Koutsky notes in the interview that “my vision for Chicago is one where a kid from any neighborhood can get a good education and find opportunity.”
